Our development team is currently working on implementing few minor enhancements which will address the reported requirement.

My independent bandwidth tests right now are reporting about 87 Mbps down and 11.88 Mbps up. This is my typical CAT5 bandwidth (Xfinity). Your bandwidth test reports 10 Mb/s down and 3.43 Mb/s up. Your numbers looked like WiFi numbers but this PC is not on WiFi - I even double-checked to be sure. Can you let me know why these reports are so different? What can I do to have iDrive recognize and use all of my available bandwidth? Many thanks.
IDrive on "Bandwidth Test"
IDrive is designed to use the maximum bandwidth available on your network at the time of backup operations and we do not impose any bandwidth restriction on user accounts.
Please send out an error report from IDrive application using "Send error Report" present under the application so that our Tier-2 team could review the backup logs/connection logs to determine the cause.

I've sent the error report just now. No rush but I am interested. My wife has Carbonite and we are looking for a faster solution. I'm testing iDrive on my PC. Right now, it seems like a lot of us experience iDrive as slow as Carbonite. Like you say, it is available bandwidth at the time. The backups run around 2:30 a.m. local time (U.S.A. Central Time) and nothing else should be competing for bandwidth on our LAN at that time. Not a big deal but if I am doing something wrong that I can correct that would be great. Many thanks.

The initial backup will take time, because all the data needs to be backed up as Full backup. However, once the initial backup is completed, the subsequent backup will take place faster, as only the changes will be transferred during the subsequent backup.
However, our Tier-2 technical team will analyze the logs and will get back to you via email at the earliest.

I attached under separate email [Thursday 12/17/2015 12:39 PM USA CT] screen shots what I'm talking about. My real bandwidth seems to be very different from what the iDrive application reports is. I’m just wondering why is all. Thanks again.

2342341 on "Windows 8.1 Keeps crashing during backup"
Hello,
I have installed the iDrive app on all of my devices, but on my work laptop (Windows 8.1), its consistently BSODing my computer. I have tried to start in safe mode + networking (to eliminate any AV/other application interference.
This is not happening on any of my Windows 7 PCs.
*I have tried to run the app as Admin + windows 7 compatibility.
*I have tried to re-install the app multiple times.
*I do have Bitlocker enabled, but I do not believe this to be related.
*Most commonly the BSOD is "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OREQUAL"

I love idrive.
I have very view problems with it.
I am a little disappointed by the lack of response on this forum post. It seems like a no brainer to have a tech spend a few minutes to post some sort of response. Any idea of a possible solution. maybe 1 or 2 things that it could possibly be. Instead of having us send in a log and opening a ticket that has to be responded to again and again. Taking considerably longer time from your staff to resolve each time.
Plus, it helps your users stay happy.
Thanks

Our application is compatible on Windows 8 as well. We require more information on this issue and hence could you please contact us on live chat where we can analyze this issue further: https://www.idrive.com/support
IDrive on "Admin user can't backup user's folders - lack of permission"
We are not overriding any of your system related permissions. Hence, if OS is denying the permissions for those folders our application will not have the referred permissions set by OS. Those are redirected folders which are used by OS. Since Documents, Music, Pictures and Videos are selected for backup by our application, by default, you may uncheck the redirected folders. However, we recommend you to get in touch with us on live chat so that we can verify and assist you with backup set selection.
Ms Debra on "iDrive on Synology shows 0% of storage used"
Has there been any further information regarding @User777's report of failed backups in version 2.03.17? I am still on 2.03.16 and hesitate to upgrade based on this report. "0%" storage is a tolerable bug, failed backups are NOT!
LtColC on "IDrive no longer working"
I have windows 10 installed and I no longer can manually backup files or have files scheduled to be backed-up. I also have the error message that states "I Drive back up services has been stopped. Restart the Idrive backup engine to continue the Operation"
When I bring up my registry I do not find the following "IDriveService".
What seems to be the problem and what should I do?
IDrive on "iDrive on Synology shows 0% of storage used"
@Ms Debra we are looking forward to the logs from @User777. There are no issues with the latest version of the app and this issue seems to be system specific. we will update the forum if we hear from @User777
IDrive on "IDrive no longer working"
We request you to send across the application logs to our tier-2 team who can look into the issue you are facing. The error report can be sent by using the "Send Error Report" option from the IDrive application by clicking on Username on top right corner of the IDrive application.
Our tier-2 team would review the application logs and respond with the troubleshooting steps.

Ali Baba on "iDrive Backup Engine Stopped."
I have Windows 7 pro and The backup started having issues 4 days ago. I called and even though I have, 6.5.0.7, supposedly the latest, I was told to uninstall, wipe out all the remnants and re-install. I did all of that and nothing changed. You can change schedules, play with what to back up, etc, but it still fails (IDrive backup engine has been stopped). I tried to back up manually while watching. It says generating list but no progress or error message. I just tried to set up recover for 5 minutes between failures and will see how it works. When I look at the services in the task Manager, it shows IDrive running, but very low CPU usage or none.
RyanM on "iDrive Not Seeing Drives that are Mapped in Windows "Drive is missing""
I just converted over to a new iDrive account from having a legacy account. Previously, in my legacy iDrive account I was backing up mapped drives to my NAS. Now in the new iDrive, when attempting to backup what is my drive "Y:" in Windows, it basically seeing that there is a mapped drive there, but for size etc, all iDrive displays is "Drive is missing". It does not see the directories and/or files within it.
What am I doing wrong?
Also... under settings,I do see the "Mapped Drive Setup" option. However I cannot type in the "Share name" box.
Not really too pleased that I just moved to this new account from my legacy which was working fine.
RyanM on "iDrive Not Seeing Drives that are Mapped in Windows "Drive is missing""
I solved my own problem.... I restarted the computer and this time it worked. Maybe a note for the developers to force a restart after install. Seems iDrive wasn't primed at install.
