I recently purchased the $9 annual plan to see what iDrive was like.
I was on a 25 download/5mb upload and recently upgraded to a 50/20mb upload
and guess what, the iDrive upload speed is just the same.

You need to increase your bandwidth/app or I won't be upgrading at the end of the year.

on version 6.7.0.30

Using classic view what I see is the Backup Location, not the computer. On the dropdown on the right I can select 'Delete', but that will delete the Backup Location and its data, not remove the computer.

IDrive performs differential backup after initial full backup. In order to resolve the reported issue, please change the mdf and ldf path in the SQL restore wizard.

Hi,
I had idrive 6.7.0.2 installed on Windows 10 Anniversary Update (1607) and few days back upgraded to Fall Creators Update (1709). I've noticed that since then, idrive is not waking up my PC to perform scheduled backup. I had nice set-up were it would wake up at specific hour, do the backup and then to back to sleep. After the FCU, it's not waking up anymore. I tried updating idrive to latest 6.7.0.30 but it's the same.

Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is there someone where idrive is waking up Windows 10 FCU?

There are no file size limits for the backups from the application.

Using the (-) sign should hide the computer and it should not reappear. Please raise a ticket by forwarding your observations to support@idrive.com. Our Tier 2 technical support team will contact you with an update.

Thank you for the reply.

Then I assume the problem it with performance / speed as my backup has been stuck at 36% for three days. The only remaining files were home videos files so I thought they were to large, but maybe there is a performance issue to get them uploaded.

I can answer this. We use a private encryption key. A recent support request showed the logs that iDrive support could access. The filenames showed client account numbers in full, so we are changing the filenames and deleting the stored backups and adding the new files withe the new names.

Noticing a pretty severe battery drain from idrive since i updated earlier today. No backup actually running, but it's draining about 4%. Appears to be wake locks hanging around for long periods of time.

Ok, somehow things started working again. Not sure why my tests for wake did not work but this morning scheduled backup executed and it's scheduled for tomorrow too:
C:\WINDOWS\system32>powercfg /waketimers
Timer set by [SERVICE] \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files (x86)\IDriveWindows\id_service.exe (IDriveService) expires at 7:30:00 on 21.12.2017.

Probably upgrade to 6.7.0.30 helped.

Hi,

after testing the free account (~900 kB/s) and buying a 5TB plan, I get now only 100 kB/s upload speed on my QNAP NAS. I tested the speed several times to several severs in California and get almost always full upload speed (900 kB/s). Upload speed to Amazon servers is constantly full speed. I already sent an error report and contacted the customer services -> no success. With this speed it's just ridiculous to upload ~5TB...

that ist my problem too! I'm using Synology NAS and upload ist ~100kB/s after purchasing 5TB. It ist easy to calculate how long it takes to upload 5TB :-((((

The culprit appears to be a wakelock labeled "0 Backup power lock" which runs for many minutes at a time before resetting to 0 and doing it again. The wakelock is always present though.
