I do not see the Archive Cleanup Button my Backup screen (DS214play, Version 2.03.17). Do I need new glasses or is there anything I have to do to enable cleanup?

Just to add to this - I've spent two days going through all this and getting stuck. Berkleigh and jer73's advice is all spot-on. I wish I'd found this thread earlier.

And just to be clear (because I'm not an IT expert), jer73 is saying clear the cache on your browser (Firefox in my case) not somewhere in the Diskstation virtual desktop.

Moderator: I've spent a total of four hours talking to your expert IT support and none of them could help me or knew anything about these simple steps. Could you please pass this stuff on.

So the documentation to go something like this...

Step 1. Download the software package for your device

Step 2. On your Synology go to Control Panel and then under Applications click Web Services. Put a check in the box to Enable Web Station if it already has not been.

Step 3. Open Package Center and click on Settings, under Trust Level select Any Publisher.

Step 4. Install the PERL package under Utilities.

Step 5. Click Manual Install and point it to the file downloaded in Step 1.

Step 6. Open Package Center and click on Settings, under Trust Level select Synology Inc.

Step 7. If there are problems logging in the iDrive app on your Synology, clear the cache on your browser, ie Firefox or Safari.

Step 8. Enjoy having IDrive Cloud backup on your Synology NAS!

@febus Please navigate to preferences in the IDrive package and in the general tab ensure mirror path option is selected. And in the backup tab, please select the desired backupset from the drop down list.

Archive cleanup works only if any backup set is selected and the mirror mode is enabled.

Ever since the interface change to the new layout, iDrive on my Win7 64bit laptop, the second machine on my account, is stuck on 'Preparing File List'.

It worked one time, with the previous interface.
This is NOT a firewall issue I have already validated that.

I reinstalled the software and it appears to be working again.

It's back to showing 0%.And every backup has failed since then and it doesn't even email me anymore letting me know it failed. Sorry, but I'll be canceling my account.

mirror path was already selected and I still do not see a cleanup button or anything when selecting a backup set in the backup tab. Anything else I can check?

Update: I can see the button on my iPad. However in desktop Safari it is not visible.

In Chrome for OS X the button is present.

I get this same issue on my Galaxy S5. Wifi is on, and active. I've tried setting the update to happen one minute in the future and gone out of the app, and continued to use the phone/wifi through other apps to make sure wifi isn't sleeping or something like that. This does not eliminate the problem.

I've tried logging out and back into the app. I've also tried the latest response of entering *#0011#. This does nothing (pressing call after typing that sends me to an automated Verizon line that says my update feature is invalid).

I can get the scheduled backups to work if I enable the setting to allow use of Cellular data (instead of just wifi). This is obviously not a desirable workaround.
