I was requested to contacted support so they could connect remotely and troubleshoot. when I spoke to support I was told they didn't need to connect and another version was due out within 48 hours.
Still nothing and when I chased it support requested another remote session.
Bearing in mind that I do not have access to my Synology during working hours, I cannot accept the remote session.
When's the new version coming out?

Hi,
Today I updated the Qnap firmare to 4.2 and the iDrive app to 2.03.09. The app doesn't accept my password. If I login through idrive.com then it accepts the password so there's nothing wrong with my credentials.
Please help.

I have Windows 7 and started having the same problem as everyone else, also have tried recommended steps by Moderator and do not see IDriveService. The last post was 3 weeks ago? Still no fix?

Okay, I got tripped up on a PHP extension not being enabled and that caused me issues getting iDrive working on my Synology DS409. Once I found an obscure forum post indicating you need to enable mcrypt in PHP settings, I could get logged into the interface on my Synology.
Now I cannot select and folders or files for backup. I'm logging in with my admin account on the Synology, I even verified the shell was defined in my /etc/passwd file as indicated in the FAQ but still no luck. I have even tried with another account on my Synology, rebooting the Synology, reinstalling the iDrive package...doesn't do me much good if I cannot select any files to back up with. I opened ticket #ID00751477 this morning, hopefully they can offer some assistance.
I signed up this morning and will quickly be cancelling for a refund if I cannot get this working. I'm more than a bit alarmed about all the reports of poor support and the numerous issues people are reporting in the forums...

I received the email asking for a chat and screen sharing session. I don't honestly know that I have the time to put into troubleshooting a product/service I was assured worked with my specific model when it clearly does not.
I might be willing to discuss assisting your dev team by letting them screen share and poke around in my system if my subscription were refunded and a year of the same level were offered for free - THEN there's an incentive for me to help you get your product working.
Until then, my recourse is the same as my email response, I've sent logs and asked for a refund of my subscription if this is not working by tomorrow morning.

I went on chat about a month ago and have yet to get an answer. I installed the latest version of the Synology app. When I go to the iDrive main screen from within that app it shows that I have 0% of my quota used, which is not the case. Even if I refresh it, it always says 0%.

I took part in 2 remote sessions which got me nowhere, just watched someone bum around on my screen with no real clue what he was looking at - and now they are asking me for another. I don't have the time and why should I. @iDrive support - Go out and buy a Synology yourselves and do your own troubleshooting. Until then you should remove your product from the market. I was assured that a new version would be released in 48 hours and I quote "It will fix your issue" - that was 2 weeks ago and I have asked for an ETA on many occasions now. Like JimmyM I have requested a refund, but surprise surprise they have ignored it and not replied. Completely unprofessional. Why would anyone want to backup and store their confidential data which an organization which appears to hide behind procrastination and delay tactics. Money back please - enough is enough!

That's logging into the iDrive backup interface on my Synology as the admin account. At this point, I don't see this getting resolved and will simply be looking for my refund.

I got lucky - I've only been signed up for two days and should be getting my full refund shortly. Sad to say this didn't work out for me as the interface looked good (from the screenshots I saw since it never worked for me to add files/folders.)
