EAZ1964 on "iDrive on Synology DS214Play keeps getting "server error 500""

have you tried (as a workaround, until it is fixed) to change apache webserver to ngnix?
It is the top setting from web station screen in configuration.

It solves the 404 error, it may or may not help in your case.
